The Zooniverse The Zooniverse is a collection of web-based citizen science projects that use the efforts of volunteers to help researchers deal with the flood of data that confronts them.	How do galaxies form.. NASA's Hubble Space Telescope archive provides hundreds of thousands of galaxy images. To understand how these galaxies, and our own, formed we need your help to classify them according to their shapes — a task at which your brain is better than even the most advanced computer.
Explore the Red Planet. Using HiRISE data from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, we're studying wind patterns on the Martian surface. With the help of Stargazing Live, citizen scientists are exploring the surface of Mars like never before.	Find the Birthplace of Planets. WISE is a NASA mission surveying the whole sky in infrared. This project is looking at stars to find dusty debris disks, similar to our asteroid field. These disks suggest that these stars are in the early stages of forming planetary systems. Learning more about these stars can tell us how our Solar System formed.
Study explosions on the Sun. Explore interactive diagrams to learn about the Sun and the spacecraft monitoring it. The STEREO spacecraft is scientists’ latest mission to study the Sun and space weather – not clouds and rain, but how solar storms change conditions in space and on Earth.	Explore the surface of the Moon. We hope to study the lunar surface in unprecedented detail. Thanks to the help of the Moon Zoo community we have already visually classified 2,324,944 images from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO).
Find Planets around stars. The Kepler spacecraft stares at a field of stars in the Cygnus constellation and records the brightness of those stars every thirty minutes to search for transiting Planets.	The #Zooniverse. The Zooniverse is home to the internet's largest, most popular and most successful citizen science projects. Our current projects are here but plenty more are on the way. If you're new to the Zooniverse, we suggest picking a project and diving in - the same account will get you into all of our projects, and you can keep track of what you've contributed by watching 'My Zooniverse'.
